Position summary: Manages the Ticket Office
Role qualifications: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Supervise Ticket Office and Mountain Learning Center desk staff.
Manage Guest Services for all TKO related functions at points of contact including windows, desk and online.
Coordinate with accounting and data processing manager concerning product/sales control issues, criteria, formatting, and procedures for both products and media.
Provide ongoing training for all ticket office personnel. Includes Rental and MLC products.
Maintain statistics on all lift ridership, season pass products and ticket products
Reconcile cash and charges with written report at the end of each shift.
Schedule employees and distribute workload accordingly.
Oversee Daily lift ticket and season pass sales.
Assist with all new media and system implementations. Maintain all current media, systems and supplies.
Facilitate all Concert ticketing and assist with event sign up.
Other duties as assigned.
Essential skills and experience:
Excellent customer service skills, interpersonal skills, and verbal/written communication skills.
Advanced experience with RTP system set up and Access media set up.
Recent computer and accounting experience necessary.
Ability to work well under pressure.
Must be able to speak and understand English.
Manual dexterity to accurately handle currency and coin.
Ability to solve problems with customers quickly and efficiently.
Visual ability to observe employees in the workplace, analyze operations and detect situations of concern with regard to areas such as employees performance, grooming, training, and policy adherence.
Flexibility to accommodate work schedule, including weekends, evenings, and holidays.
Accurate cash handling experience including operating a cash register required.
High School graduate or equivalent.
Physical demands and work environment: The physical demands and work environment characteristics described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Physical demands: Must be able to perform continuously for an 8+ hour shift. Lifting heavy objects (no more than 50 pounds) may be required. You will be required to stand and walk safely on uneven terrain. Employee may be required to pass a functional capacity test developed for this job.
