Job Summary The Business Partner, Human Resources will partner with their respective senior business leaders and associates within 's high purity silicone business to implement key HR processes and programs. This role is responsible for providing strategic HR support in the areas of labor relations, employee relations, compliance, diversity, performance management, HR analysis, process redesign, succession planning, organizational and workforce planning and development and career development. MAJOR JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (List in order of importance) Responsible for partnering and consulting with senior leadership team on all HR initiatives for respective areas of support
Hands on experience and knowledge of California labor laws and regulations related to EEO, affirmative action, collective bargaining, unions, labor relations, and human resources.
Ability to support a manufacturing environment that has multiple shifts. Must be willing to work a flexible schedule.
Provides insightful, confidential and business- focused guidance to leaders on all matters related to associate and organization development. Leads succession planning and cross-functional talent discussions with leadership teams.
Facilitates collaborative problem solving strategies to resolve associate relations issues through effective communication with all levels of associates.
Leads in implementing HR policies and procedures as well as monitoring the effectiveness of these programs.
The ability to understand business goals and recommend new approaches, policies and procedures to effect continual improvements in business objectives, productivity and development of HR within the company
Bias for action, strong work ethic, and desire to achieve excellence
Must be able to interface at all levels of the organization
A true hands-on approach as well as the ability to successfully monitor the "pulse" of the associates to ensure a high level of engagement
Experience with rapid and complex changing work environment
Assists management team in developing skills to manage human resources more effectively through modeling, coaching, instruction and training.
Manages projects and/or participates as a project member on company-wide HR initiatives.
Performs other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS (Education/Training, Experience and Certifications) Requires 4-year college degree. Master's degree preferred or equivalent work experience.
Requires minimum of 7-10 years of Human Resources experience.
Professional in Human Resources (PHR) certification preferred.
Strong knowledge of California state and federal labor laws.
Experience supporting manufacturing environments.

KNOWLEDGE SKILLS AND ABILITIES (Those necessary to perform the job competently) Must have a proven track record of relationship building with both internal and external customers.
Strong CA Labor knowledge and expertise
Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
Excellent oral, written and interpersonal communication skills.
Ability to handle employee conflicts and differences by interpreting verbal/ non-verbal behavior, detecting perceptions and needs of employees, understanding and valuing employee differences.
Demonstrated business acumen and the ability to understand business strategy and goals.
Requires working knowledge of MS Office and HRIS systems. Experience with Workday preferred.
Ability to work independently and with a team

ENVIRONMENTAL WORKING CONDITIONS & PHYSICAL EFFORT (Under Typical Positions) Typically works in an office with adequate lighting and ventilation and a normal range of temperature and noise level. Work assignments are diversified. Examples of past precedent are used to resolve work problems. New alternatives may be developed to resolve problems. A frequent volume of work and deadlines impose strain on routine basis. Minimal physical effort is required. Work is mostly sedentary but does require walking, standing, bending, reaching, lifting or carrying objects that typically weigh less than 10 lbs. DISCLAIMER:
