We are looking for a full-time Administrative Assistant to join the Delhomme Funeral Home team!Duties of the Administrative Assistant include providing support to our managers and employees, assisting in daily office needs, and managing our company’s general administrative activities.Responsibilities:
Completing and submitting state & federal documents
Transcribing and submitting obituaries
Inputting data into industry specific software
Creating and producing memorial products, “funeral stationery”
Editing and uploading PDFs and other applicable forms
Draft correspondences and other formal documents
Develop and implement organized filing systems
On call every other weekend
Perform all other office tasks as needed
Answering and directing phone calls
Write and distribute email, correspondence memos, letters, faxes and forms

Qualifications:
Technologically Proficient
Strong attention to detail
Strong organizational skills
Able to quickly prioritize and re-prioritize in multitasking
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Microsoft Office experience
Ability to learn new software for multimedia productions and industry specific software
Previous experience in Adobe Creative Suite, office administration or other related fields is desired, but not required.
