Description: Hope 2 Action is a violence screening study with the goal of developing a client-tailored short violence screening tool and violence/trauma treatment protocol for Ryan White clients to improve engagement and retention in HIV care. We conduct interviews with clients throughout Atlanta.
JOB DESCRIPTION: Manages a project
Coordinates the strategic planning process and monitors progress toward achieving project goals
Assists in developing, administering and monitoring project related budgets
Coordinates logistical arrangements for related conferences, conventions or meetings
May assist in identifying funding resources and in developing funding strategies and initiatives
Develops and generates various operational and statistical reports
Represents and promotes the project at various speaking engagements
May write grants, reports, briefings, newsletters, promotional or other written material related to the project
Performs related responsibilities as required

RESPONSIBILITIES: Coordinate all recruitment procedures including protocol development
Supervise GRA level staff assisting with on-site data collection
Maintain data collection logs and maintain a database for data collected across all phases of the 5 year project
Work closely with PHPA to coordinate qualitative data collection
Assist with the study Community Advisory Board

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: A bachelor's degree in a related field and three years of related project management experience, or an equivalent combination of experience, education and training

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Masters in Public Health or Master of Science degree in a related field

Previous experience with quantitative and qualitative data collection
Previous subject recruitment experience
Previous experience working with HIV positive individuals, both in and out of care
Experience conducting research within clinical environments
