As a Full Time Bank Teller, you will have the opportunity to work with a team that truly cares about members and their financial success. You will provide prompt and professional service to members and prospective members. In this role you will be responsible for a variety of paying and receiving functions, including processing deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, cashier’s checks, money orders, and cash advances. You will also educate our members about the credit union products and services offered, as well as answer member questions regarding these products while looking for opportunities to cross sell the products and services that will help meet their financial goals. Essential Functions and Basic Duties: AMOCO’s Teller position is responsible for delivering superior and efficient service to members’ at any branch office location. This person will serve as the face of AMOCO to all members, and as such, must have a general understanding of credit union processes as well as products and services. The primary role of this individual will be to accurately process financial transactions; however, this individual will also be responsible for a number of other essential functions to include: Make referrals to other employee(s)/departments while exceeding AMOCO’s service standards; Ensure that the Credit Union’s quality and professional reputation is projected and maintained; Ensure the proper maintenance, cleanliness, and security of work area, desks, equipment; Ensure required reports and documentation are accurate and timely. Education and Experience: Experience in customer service and cash handling preferred
Teller experience a plus
Ability to communicate professionally and courteously
High School Diploma or equivalent

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Ability to work effectively within a team and/or individually
Strong interpersonal and communication skills are required
Proficient user of Microsoft Office products including Word, Excel, and Outlook
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to handle multiple priorities at one time
