POSITION: Executive Chef
JOB SUMMARY Are you friendly and enjoy “rolling out the red carpet” to guests? Do you enjoy creating stellar guest experiences? Are you a team player that is energetic, friendly, and professional? Do you enjoy working in a fast-paced environment with the ability to deliver excellent culinary and customer service? The Executive Chef will take the lead in opening a new restaurant within a hotel, to include banquet service, breakfast, dinner, and bar service. He/She will be responsible for recipes, menu creation, implementation, and efficient daily operation of restaurant, in room dining, bar and banquets. He/ She will oversee the front line, prepare, and train the staff, conduct daily walk throughs, maintain inventory on all goods, and ensure all federal, state, and local food safety and sanitation requirements are met. manages our onsite restaurant and bar. This role takes on the overall management of the restaurant including training, supervising, developing, disciplining, and counseling all staff. The Executive Chef will assist in scheduling staff according to business levels, maintaining and monitoring overtime, labor and food costs. If you enjoy anticipating the needs of guests to create that stellar guest experience, creating exceptional dishes and being on a winning team – this job is for you!
QUALIFICATIONS 4+ years of experience in full-service restaurant.
2+ years of Sous Chef experience.
Graduation from a culinary academy preferred.
Hospitality experience preferred.
Must have Manager food handling certification.
