General Manager:
Position Summary: The General Manager (GM) is the highest level of management within a single store. The GM is responsible for leading, mentoring and advising the management team and staff to the successful execution of the restaurant. The GM teaches management on the fundamentals and approach to achieve stated objectives in sales, costs, and hospitality while representing the values of Freddy’s. The GM will also need to have a strong understanding of the stores progress and have a strategic vision for its future development. This position may include assisting the District or Regional Manager as call upon.
Job Duties & Responsibilities: Core Business Measurements Enforce all company policies, procedures and protocols at the store level
Achieve 90%+ in monthly Operational Assessments and Customer Service Assessments
Ensure that all operational checklists are completed accurately and timely
Achieve 90%+ on quarterly HR audits including having all proper documentation for all team members, completing reviews in a timely manner and documenting team member’s one-on-one’s and any coaching & counseling discussions
Ensure that the Company’s mission and values are being communicated and followed by all personnel

Leadership & Communication Set the standards of the 3 pillars (Hospitality, Quality and Cleanliness)
Display a high level of professionalism at all time, especially when communicating with employees and guests
Maintain an environment of open communication, positive attitude and trust based relationships with all personnel
Provide equal amounts of praise and constructive criticism, utilizing on going positive reinforcement
Work to ensure Customer Satisfaction is the highest priority for all team members and promote the understanding that hospitality begins behind the counter
Interacts with guests to ensure 100% customer satisfaction
Lead by example in all of your actions including maintaining a professional image and appearance
Conduct regularly scheduled manager meetings and communicate goals and objectives to the team – address opportunities with a focus on operations, profitability and expectations
Develop team members in their duties and careers as well as ensure cross training staff is a priority (must have 100% compliance with Freducation training program

Financial Performance Implement action plans to increase restaurant and retail sales
Ensure quality control standards and procedures are strictly enforced and that staff are trained to meet those standards
Ensure consistent execution of new menu inserts, rollouts, promotions and special events
Ensure all standardized portion control guidelines are followed and maintained
Monitor sales trends and make effective decisions to control the key costs of sales and labor
Develop accurate weekly revenue forecasts to ensure that departmental labor can be accurately forecasted
Maximize productivity without compromising quality standards
Provide period-end P&L and budget review for District Manager

Health & Safety Ensure full restaurant compliance with all HACCP and health department regulations
Ensure daily, weekly and monthly inspections are conducted and immediately address critical violations and create action plan to correct repeat violations
Enforce employee hygiene standards in the restaurant to minimize illness risks
Ensure proper tools are in place to maintain a safe work environment

Other Duties Handle and resolve guest complaints/concerns with the commitment to satisfy them
Review and approve all schedules and forecasts
Coordinate opening/closing activities in a timely and safe manner
Ensure that all cash handling procedures are followed
Resolve conflicts and improve team member performance in a constructive manner and according to policies
Identify future staffing needs and conduct terminations as needed
Must have experience with Microsoft Office, Excel, Word, Internet and Email
Must ensure that all paperwork and administrative forms are forwarded to JRI office in a timely manner

Qualifications/Requirements: Ability to stand and walk 10 hours/day
Ability to continuously reach, bend, lift, carry and stoop
Ability to freely access all areas of the restaurant
Ability to move or handle items weighing 0-75lbs
Ability to work varied hours/days to oversee store operations
Hazards include, but not limited to cuts, slipping, tripping, falls and burns
