Brief Position Description: Insure timely and accurate compliance of the plant with all regulatory reporting, inspection and certification around Safety and Environmental aspects. It includes maintaining the personnel and contractor training data base and plant SOPs. This position is also responsible to schedule and organize all plant communication.Responsibilities / ActivitiesProvides administrative support to the Plant director and the Environmental Manager preparing regulatory reporting, KPI analysis, action plan follow ups and various presentation.
Responsible for Environmental Manager’s safety advocate duties in the absence of the Environmental Manager.
Coordinates events, meeting and maintain calendars as it pertains to Safety and environmental.
Supports the PRIDE initiative (BBS).
Manages the Convergence and Amatia data base with the training information of the internal work force and contractors.
Compose, track and maintain plant communications (communication TV screen, Plant Focus, memos, publication…etc.)
Insures that all scheduled regulatory safety and environmental checks, inspection and certification are being timely completed (safety harness inspection, ground checks, annual refresher, environmental regulatory calibrations, etc.)
Supports management during communication with the community working with Argos Corporate public relation team and during communication with the State and Federal Agencies.
Maintains accurate safety data (i.e., injury log, Argos KPI database, tracking of safety incentive plan, etc.) and perform KPI analysis.
Prepares, gets approved and send out all regulatory reporting for Environmental and Safety
Maintains and generates MSHA 7000-1 Reports. Maintains Part 46 Training
Updates MSHA training plan, emergency plan
Coordinates training as well as maintains employee safety/training files (both paper and electronic versions) including Annual Refresher, task, site specific and specialized training
Manages daily Plant Communication (Email, Communication TV, Main Parking Lot Safety Sign)
Organizes and manages plant events (pride day, safety audit, safety fair)
Manages Databases (SOPA)
Manages the Pride Team reports and observations.
Prepares and Maintains monthly safety KPI’s by 1st of each month.
Completes quarterly MSHA report no later than the 15th of the following month after quarter ends.
Maintains all training record to include data entry into SuccessFactors and filing in personnel training files.
Meets with MSHA inspector when records are reviewed during inspections.
