About the Role: The Human Resources Generalist provides support across the Human Resources function including, but not limited to, employee engagement, retention, recognition, employee events, recruitment, and benefits. This is a highly visible, multi-faceted role that will work within all lines of the Human Resources function. The Human Resources Generalist will be working in a fast-paced environment, and must be able to remain agile while balancing highly time sensitive responsibilities. Responsibilities: Delivery and refinement of new hire orientation
Assist with stay interviews and reporting of data
Lead employee surveys by driving participation, analyzing data and trends, and developing/sharing the story in the data
Recruit for open positions, as assigned, from sourcing candidates to offering the position; recruitment workload will vary based on demand from business lines
Manage social committee events, employee events, budgeting, and communication
Ensure all employee focused experiences align with our culture and brand
Work with subject-matter experts to update onboarding training materials and online resources, ensure that information remains current and effective
Schedule and facilitate quarterly meet the CEO meetings for new associates
Schedule and facilitate quarterly virtual Social Half Hour meeting with new employees
Perform ad-hoc and periodic reporting as requested and assigned for a variety of areas including, but not limited to, compliance, bank examinations, audits, finance/accounting, and HR metrics
Assist benefits administration during open enrollment and during other peak seasons as needed
Occasional travel
Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in HR, Communications, Business, or related degree
Minimum of 1 – 3 years’ experience working in a dynamic, national, fast paced team in recruitment, training or employee engagement
Ability to think creatively and build fresh employee experiences
Outstanding written and verbal communications; must be an articulate and persuasive communicator and public speaker
Ability to prepare and make presentations and collect, assimilate and analyze data. Must have knowledge of Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
Ability to conduct group facilitation and work effectively in a team environment
Strong public speaking skills required. Ability to make effective presentations before an audience and imparting knowledge and key information to small, medium, and large employee groups

Working Conditions / Demands: Professional office setting.
Primarily sedentary position requiring long periods of time working at a computer.
Must be able to move throughout the office and buildings to obtain or relay information.
Must be able to perform the essential functions of the position with or without reasonable accommodation.
Some essential functions of the position cannot be performed remotely and require on-site work in order to maintain customer relationships and administrative tasks while also providing cross department support.
