About the Role:
The Sales Analyst – Pacific Region located in Irvine, CA will assist the sales team for North America, focusing on Sales Planning Management, SAP Order Management and Trade & Sales Planning. Analytical focus will pertain to the portfolio of Yogurt, Plant Based Beverages, Beverage Solutions and Premium Dairy, with the goal of meeting business planning and performance objectives. You will:
Analyze customer performance to inform and support sales team in driving business at customer. Pull customer data, track scorecard metrics/customer KPIs, and perform analysis that provide insights to the KAMs and CBMs to shape customer conversations and plans. Input sales/customer information into data systems. Support sales teams with administrative tasks such as creating contracts and managing inputs into trade system. You will be accountable for:
Pull data and perform analyses to support sales team in growing the business at assigned customers
Deliver on ad hoc requests for additional sales needs regarding data pulls, presentation development, etc.
Utilize syndicated, panel, or customer data to analyze the business, understand business trends, and provide a point of view on solutions
Perform analyses to identify new distribution and incremental sales opportunities for given customer(s)
Run velocity and sales reports in support of customer performance and contract adherence management
Input information for sales teams into systems
Support sales on submitting sales plans into trade management system across all categories
Leading sales team’s audit management process, to assure proper contracts are created and submitted to ensure event audit compliance
Own retail system updates with the guidance of sales team, by inputting assortment updates and RAP priorities on a monthly basis
Support sales teams with administrative tasks
Provide support on contract development and new item form generation
Own the creation of contracts for various retailers and submit in a timely fashion
Aligning with Revenue Management and the sales team to efficiently clear and process all customer fees and bills, while analyzing trade savings and accretive opportunities
Support downstream customers as direct sales contract
About you About you:
4-year business degree
1 to 5 years work experience
Analytical skills and ability to analyze data
Proficient in Microsoft Office – Word, Excel, PowerPoint
Superior communication skills (written and verbal)
Excellent attention to detail & ability to organize information
Ability to work independently
Ideally CPG experience
