Job Title: Licensed Center Desk Status: P/TDepartment: Licensed CenterReports to: Childcare Leadership TeamPosition Summary:This position supports the work of the Y, a leading nonprofit committed to strengthening community through youth development, healthy living and social responsibility. Provide a quality experience to children and parents that focus on building achievement and belonging in youth and relationships among youth and within families.Essential Functions:1. Welcomes new and returning families as they enter the YMCA Daycare2. Takes payments as needed3. Assists in enrolling new families4. Answers phones5. Provides information about the program6. Previous experience working in customer service preferred.2. At least 18 years of age3. Proactive, hands-on and professional work ethic4. CPR, First Aid, AED certifications and Child Abuse prevention training within 30 days of hire date5. Previous experience with diverse populations. Ability to develop positive, authentic relationships with people from different backgrounds6.
