Cultural Diversity Workshop Host & FacilitatorJob DescriptionInternational Cultures “The Bridge across the Cultural Divide,” is a cultural “Edutainment” company based on the Foundation of Love, crossing the divide of cultural diversity using universal languages such as music, dance, food, art, history, etc., to better our communities, societies, and nations!We are transcending the barriers of language, norms, traditions, beliefs, etc., which lead to intolerance, stereotyping, biases and prejudices that threaten our communities, societies, and nations.Whether it’s a spectacular theatrical production, an interactive engaging and fun workshop, or an intellectually stimulating forum discussion, using our mediums of universal languages, we aim to break the ice, transcend the barriers, jump the hurdles, cross the borders, bringing love and unity – spirtually, professionally, academically, and socially.The Host & Facilitator for International Cultures cultural diversity workshops is an individual who is energetic, passionate and enthusiastic about cultural diversity and has effective communications and presentations skills. This person is willing to perform the following tasks virtually and/or in-person on an on call contractual basis as scheduledEngaging a small group of individuals in an inspiring, intellectual, interesting, and interactive cultural diversity workshop that is based on the foundation of love Utilizing the course structure in presenting lectures and conducting the workshops, inclusive of participating in activities to inspire, empower, encourage, educate, entertain, and inform the participants about the intended topic
Selecting and assembling materials to be used in demonstration while conducting the workshop, such as videos, music, films, slide shows, menu etc…and directing the activities associated with the project Evaluating the success of the workshops based on the enthusiasm of participants via quizzes, polls and surveys and making recommendation for modifying, retaining, dropping or adding a new workshop. Attending meetings with the president and other Hosts & Facilitators to discuss, provide feedback, evaluate and plan future workshops.
*Skills and Qualifications:· Bachelor’s or Masters in Cultural Studies from an from an accredited university Knowledge of business organizations is a plus 2 Years employee training experience 2 Years customer service experience Interest in cultural affairs, education, arts and entertainment Travel experience to various countries a plus Highly developed oral & written communication skills and excellent presentation skills Ability to build relationships effectively and professionally
Job Type: ContractPay: Up to $75.00 per hourSchedule:Day shift Monday to Friday On call
Experience:Teaching or presentation: 2 years (Required)
