Come develop your career with us.The Foreman will lead all field operations which includes, safety, work methods, organization, productivity, and quality. This is a hands-on, working position. Candidate should have a solid experience in construction, outstanding leadership personality and ability to make decisions in complex situations. Possess physical condition and stamina to perform activities including heavy lifting, up to 100lbs, and considerable bending and kneeling. Requires working outdoors in all types of weather conditions. Some work will be performed in confined areas and on scaffolding or man lifts.Essential Functions: Lead the work crew and perform physical tasks required to complete projects Develop, implement and manage 3-week look-ahead project schedules on a weekly basis. Provide proper training of all field personnel. Promote a cooperative and favorable working climate conductive to maximize employee morale and productivity. Coordinate subcontractors, material/equipment delivery, and inspections Manage self-performed activities to ensure that work is being performed in a workmanlike manner and within the established project budget Maintain daily paperwork such as timecards, job diaries, field reports, and e-mail correspondence
Qualifications: 10 years minimum relevant construction experience, 5 years supervisory experience Thorough understanding of commercial and industrial construction means and methods, hands on and practical experience required. Applicant must demonstrate the ability to operate independently supervising crew sizes from 2-10+. Familiarity with blueprints Time-management and multi-tasking skills Strong interpersonal and communication skills Computer literate (proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel)
