Detail of : Gaffer and 1st AC for USC/AFI Short Film Job Openings in Los Angeles
Looking for Gaffer and a 1st AC to collaborate with USC/AFI students and alum on a tone piece, which will be used to fundraise for a short film. Tone piece will shoot Nov. 7 and Nov. 8. This will be an 8-hour day.Logline: An Asian American cop fights to keep his interracial marriage when he becomes entangled in the killing of an innocent Black teen.Meets with the director and director of photography to determine vision for the lighting.
Assist with the lighting plan by setting up lighting equipment, using gaffer tape and securing electrical cords and other tools (sandbags, C-stands) when needed.
Must bring own gloves to set. May be required to life up to 50lbs.
Everyone must receive a COVID test within 2 days before arriving on set. All crew will be required to wear masks and gloves as well as utilize hand sanitizer. Please submit a resume and a reel for the piece.Rate: $50 a day, food, copy, and first right of refusal for the short film.Job Types: Part-time, TemporaryPay: $50.00 per daySchedule:8 hour shift
COVID-19 considerations: Everyone on set must take a COVID-19 test two days before shoot, wear masks, and utilize hand sanitizer, and gloves.Education:Associate (Required)
