About the Position: Position is with the Tripler Army Medical Center Logistics Division located on Tripler Army Medical Center, HI. Honolulu is the state capitol and the 11th largest U.S. Metropolitan city. Waikiki, the most world renowned site in Oahu, and is the top visitor destination of the state. TAMC is a tobacco-free workplace. Tobacco products include, but are not limited to, smoking, smokeless tobacco, and electronic nicotine delivery devices. Responsibilities
Order stocked medical items via point-of-use systems.
Receive supplies from warehouse, prime vendor or vendors via credit card purchase.
Check invoice against received material to ensure receipts of all items and sign for material received.
Assist customers in locating items in storage.
Keep storage areas neat and clean and functionally arranged.
Occasional travelYou may be expected to travel for this position.

Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
This position may require an immunization screening to determine inoculation for Measles, Mumps and Rubella (MMR), Hepatitis B series, Chickenpox titer and skin test screening for Tuberculosis (TB).
This position is designated as Mission Essential. You will be required to insure continuity of Tripler Army Medical Center's operation during ALL hazards emergency situations.
This position may require rotating shift work between the hours of 0630-1500, and 1300-2100, and may also include weekends, and holidays.
This position requires a pre-employment physical and any sub-sequent annual physical.
This position requires to lift up to 70lbs.
This position may be required to travel up to 5% of the time.
This position has a mandatory seasonal influenza vaccination requirement.

Physical Effort Continual standing on hard floors for extended periods of time, bending, stooping and working in tiring and uncomfortable positions is required. Lifting and carrying of items weighing up to 70 pounds is required. The heavier items are moved with weight handling equipment, push carts, or with assistance from co-workers.
Working Conditions Work is performed in climate-controlled areas, storage rooms, etc. Normally is not exposed to extreme heat or cold conditions.
Male applicants born after December 31, 1959, must complete a Pre-Employment Certification Statement for Selective Service Registration.
You will be required to provide proof of U.S. Citizenship.
Two year trial/probationary period may be required.
Direct Deposit of Pay is required.
Selection is subject to restrictions resulting from Department of Defense referral system for displaced employees.
