Job Description Summary: This position is responsible for the proactive management of preparing and documenting work papers used to support the Medicare/Medicaid/Campus cost reports for all entities. The incumbent is responsible to ensure that the supporting cost report work papers are in compliance with the rules and regulations of the Medicare and Medicaid government programs. In additional this position will assist and ensure the accuracy of the monthly estimated deductions for all of the entities. The incumbent will coordinate and collaborate with the entity involved from all levels of personnel including the Central Business office, hospital operations, Information Services, Financial Reporting, Finance and Accounting. Occasional travel between facilities will be necessary. The incumbent will be involved in financial analysis of service lines, joint ventures and special projects. Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree: Finance (Required) Bachelor's degree (B. A. B. S. ) from four year College or university; or from two year College plus five years reimbursement Experience . Proficient in Microsoft Office applications such as Excel, Access and Word. Ability to create complex programs for spreadsheet software such as creating financial models, regression analysis, or setting up or maintaining databases. strong math analytical skills including variance analysis, statistical formulas, algebraic formulas, percentages, multiplication and division, fractions and reasonableness tests. For those meeting the Bachelor's Degree minimum requirement, there must also be at least a minimum of 4 6 months related Experience which may include summer internship.
