(OA) is recruiting a Front Office Associate to join our company. OA is a privately-owned, regional leader in comprehensive orthopedic care. Since 1985, patients have placed their trust in our specialized care of the hand and upper extremities, spine, shoulder, elbow, hip, knee, foot and ankle, trauma, total joint and sports medicine. With 18 physicians and 13 Physician Assistants/Nurse Practitioners, these 31 providers provide patient care at six full-time locations in the region including Centerville, Dayton, Sidney, Beavercreek, Greenville and Liberty Township. Additionally, our providers provide satellite coverage for Eaton, Troy, and Springfield. OA is an innovative, progressive, fast-paced practice- always one step ahead in the industry. Job Title: Front Office (Medical Practice) Reports To: Clinical Manager Hours: 8 hours per day (M-F); start & end times may fluctuate Duties include; but are not limited to, Front Office Duties Greeting patients and families
Scheduling appointments
Collecting and posting payments
Administering paperwork
Answering phone calls
Computer data entry
Providing top notch customer service to patients, families, guests and staff

Travel:This position requires minimal travel; however, of SW Ohio reserves the right to relocate position duties to other locations, including satellite offices. May require travel to other locations as business needs arise.

Required Education and Experience:Minimum education level of high school diploma and/or equivalent education.

Preferred Education and Experience:Health care industry experience
Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy and physiology, clinical medicine, surgery, diagnostic tests, radiology, pathology, pharmacology, and the various medical specialties as required in areas of responsibility.
