203 Kombucha: Taproom AttendantDescription:
We’re looking to hire a part time position to help with a couple key kombuchery duties. Primarily, this person will be the face of 203 at Friday Fling in Palmer and assist with closing duties four to five days a week. As a new and lean business, we look forward to working with someone who is energetic, self-motivated, and always striving for efficiencies and improvements.Responsibilities: Learn the history, process, and values of 203 Kombucha in order to have informed conversations with customers
Attend Friday Flings throughout the summer with mobile kombucha-pouring setup, including fridge, kegs, table, and tent
Maintain event equipment and kombucha supply
Assist with closing duties at the kombuchery four to five days a week, including cleaning, helping customers, and prepping for the next day
Upon hire, obtain food handler’s permit

Qualifications:
We're open to recent high school or college graduates and beyond. More than age or experience level, we're looking for someone who has:A valid Driver’s License
The ability to lift 50 pounds and stand for extended periods of time
Interest in having a big impact on a small business and local community
A natural and energetic way of talking about kombucha and our business
The ability to work independently with the insight to ask for help when needed
Proficiency with basic tools (wrenches, valves, tubing, pressurized tanks, etc.) and the commitment to learn all the kombucha hardware
Critical thinking skills; able to see beyond current state
An action-oriented mindset; able to bring ideas into action
Self-motivation; seeking out tasks and taking initiative

Commitment and compensation:
We ask that you be available evenings (6pm-9pm) for 4-5 days that we’re open and for the
11am - 6pm shift at Friday Fling. We'll work with you to determine the exact hours.
Friday Flings begin May 21 and run every Friday from 11am-6pm until August 20th.
You will be paid a competitive part-time wage and will earn tips.
You’ll also be working in one of the most beautiful places around with a small team of truly awesome individuals and have access to the tastiest kombucha imaginable.How to Apply:

In addition to fresh brewed kombucha, we serve delicious local coffee (specializing in a killer oat milk latte), toast (the avocado toast is a real treat), hot chocolate, tea (naturally) and cold pressed juices. We love using local ingredients when we can, and use organic and fresh fruits, veggies, herbs, and tea when we can’t.
More than that, we love Palmer and the people in it. Community events and showcasing local talent are two of our favorite things: art nights, open mics, trivia, cheese club, single nights.
