What you get to do:
As an Integrated Marketing Manager, you’ll support SeaWorld San Diego, Aquatica San Diego (final season 2021) and Sesame Place San Diego (opening spring 2022) parks by developing a wide array of marketing initiatives and managing the execution of marketing tactics across all channels. You will ensure seamless execution of traditional and digital marketing projects in paid media, owned media, promotions, partnerships, sponsorships, brand, creative, content development, membership, and guest experience. As a critical team member within a passionate and hard-working marketing team you will:
Execute integrated and innovative marketing campaigns, including advertising campaigns & media that will support attendance and revenue-driving initiatives, and manage trafficking of paid media
Be the day-to-day park contact for Corporate Creative Services, Corporate Media Team, and advertising agencies
Lead the creative development for all consumer-facing marketing channels such as websites, sales collateral, CVB’s, retail, promotions & outreach
Facilitate and reconcile feedback from creative approval through multiple stakeholders, managing creative and media timelines, deliverables, and budgets
Spearhead advertising, film and photo shoots to develop a library of assets that support advertising and creative projects, and support Content and Social Media Leader with owned-channel asset development.
Maintain brand consistency across all marketing channels
Work with Corporate divisions (Creative Services, Email, Social, Web) to oversee and manage multichannel marketing projects for the park
Collaborate with SeaWorld San Diego internal park divisions (Operations, Finance, Zoo, Education, Entertainment, Culinary, Merchandise, Creative Production) to support their marketing needs
Guide and assist Associate Marketing Manager
Work in a team environment and interact with others in a professional manner
Support media promotions initiatives to include radio/TV/print added-value media programs & onsite radio remotes
Lead retail in-market partner auditing process to ensure excellence in execution
Assist with other duties, included office assistance as needed
Communicate professionally and effectively with ambassadors, vendors, and our guests
Perform other duties as assigned


What it takes to succeed:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and marketing experience
3 years minimum experience in marketing required
2 years minimum of experience in paid media and creative traffic management
Hospitality, tourism, and/or entertainment-related marketing experience highly preferred
Superior multi-tasking, competing priority management and speed to execution designed for a fast-paced, flexible, and demanding environment
Ability to manage and prioritize deadlines of diverse and high-volume projects
Effective project management, tactical execution, including alignment, identification, and prioritization of resources for areas of responsibility
Enthusiastic, confident leader with ability to build cross-discipline influence with a team that features diversified areas of expertise
Proficient in Microsoft Office, specifically, Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
Must have a valid driver’s license and able to meet company driving guidelines
Must be enthusiastic, confident, and able to handle multiple tasks simultaneously, meet tight deadlines and be extremely detailed
Excellent communication skills (written and oral) with an ability to adapt communication style to several different audiences
Must possess strong customer service skills, along with timely and accurate follow up


What else is important:
Must be able to lift, push, pull and/or carry up to 50 lbs.
Perform the following physical activities: kneeling, squatting, bend floor-to waist/waist-to-overhead, reach overhead, simple grasp and fine hand manipulation tasks (use of tools/keyboard/writing)
Must be able to work indoors and outdoors, in varying weather, to include extreme heat
Work regularly Monday through Friday but with flexibility based on business need to include weekends, evenings, and holidays
