Do you love to create new processes and systems for transforming numbers into actionable insights?Are you passionate about building meaningful datasets that illuminate the best paths to success? If so, we need you to be our Demand Planning Analyst. The Demand Planning Analyst is a vital member of our Supply Chain team, working cross-functionally to construct data-driven insights that reveal business opportunities and support efficiency and effectiveness throughout our business operations. In this role you will design and build a forecasting system from scratch that effectively pulls data from multiple sources to produce an accurate forecast. You will build and manage systems and processes for forecasting, demand planning, sales conversion, and logistical analysis throughout the product, eCommerce, and supply chain lifecycles to effectively deliver the best catalog of products to our customers. You will identify key opportunities for improvement in these areas and bring our growth initiatives to fruition.Key Responsibilities:You’ll build world-class data and analytics capabilities beginning with the development of a high-quality demand forecast from scratch, including:
Statistical baseline
Promotion uplifts, including cannibalization impacts
Sales + Marketing Intelligence
New Product Introduction
Interpretation of key trends impacting the market, sector, and category performance

You’ll work closely with our Supply Chain team to develop long term ordering forecasts to accurately prepare our suppliers for future needs and provide a weekly update of current conditions and orders
You’ll own the success of our inventory planning process, tracking and adjusting order quantities and timelines with a high level of accountability
You’ll analyze sales and product data, including production times, transit times, and other elements of shipping logistics, to increase the efficiency of our supply chain operations and produce simplified pricing recommendations
You’ll present data in a way that is professional, clear, easy to read and act on; developing a thorough understanding of our business objectives and supporting data-driven decisions throughout the organization
As we launch new products, brands, promotions, and initiatives, you will create models to evaluate their impact and respond with appropriate operational changes
There will be opportunities for you to grow into machine learning, AB testing, Google Data Studio, and KPI work to empower us with more significant insights as we expand our use of technology in the data analytics space and partner with additional departments for collaboration

In addition, to succeed as the Demand Planner, you must:Be a whiz at handling large volumes of data and databases, and passionate about the story they tell
Be adept at analyzing raw data and turning it into actionable insights with real business impacts
Be excited about creating your own processes and systems - this is not a position where we have software in place that will generate an inventory list for you to order!
Operate as a highly analytical thinker with a natural curiosity for data and information
Bring meticulous attention-to-detail, and the ability to work with the details but not lose sight of the big picture
A flexible attitude and ability to adapt quickly to a fast-changing international supply chain environment

Your Qualifications:2 - 5 years experience in demand planning, inventory planning, forecasting, supply chain analytics, or similar; global logistics, cloud, and big data analysis are a plus
Demonstrated experience building complex spreadsheets from scratch to support growth and decision-making within the business
Experience in data modeling, optimization, application to business strategies, and successful project ownership/support
Demonstrated experience producing creative and straightforward solutions to complex problems
Demonstrated commitment to accuracy, personal accountability, and excellence as a high performer through internships or work experiences
Advanced skills with Google Sheets
