Position OverviewSales Assistant is ultimately responsible for aiding the Sales Executives in daily interactions with customers. The Sales Assistant actively assists customers in the new home sales process, when the Sales Executives are unavailable, and guides them to an ultimate goal of home ownership through Stylecraft. In addition to being accountable for customer interactions, the Sale Assistant is involved in many administrative tasks that are intended to aid the Sales Executive. The Sales Assistant is also tasked with the in-field responsibilities of the Sales Department. These responsibilities are geared at marketing current inventory and maintaining the integrity of said inventory along with the subdivisions as a whole.Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesShow properties and communities to prospective buyers, tour and demonstrate model homes and home sites, and take customers to view homes at various stages of construction when Sales Executive is unavailable.
Set appointments for Sales Executive after having them approve as needed.
Conduct biweekly price checks.
Process price changes.
Sales assistant is responsible for all mls listings and maintenance.
Sales assistant is responsible for taking photos of construction progress on all inventory homes in order to update our website, inventory reports, lobby tv slideshow, mls and flyers.
Sales assistant will create and maintain all home inventory flyers, etc. On occasion, they will also create event flyers.
Sales assistant will assist in providing home buyers construction updates.
The inventory report will be updated and maintained by the assistant; this report is emailed every Sunday to the defined email recipient list.
Assistant will assist in conducting décor selection meetings as needed, record selections and submit to home office when needed.
Assistant will field phone calls and emails accordingly.
Maintain model home supplies.
Ensure model home is in accordance with daily model home checklist.
Open/close model home as necessary.
Correct any signage issues, i.e.: for sale/sold signs not in proper location, damaged or missing.
Assembly and display signs as needed for the neighborhood.
Search for marketing opportunities in the area, present sponsorship or participation opportunities to sales exec.
Explore social media resources to utilize for marketing.
On occasion, attend marketing events, i.e.: open houses, realtor appreciation events, etc.
On occasion, attend training events.
Assist in coordinating open houses and realtor events with sales exec.
Assistant will be able to navigate Horizon in order to access décor selection information for all homes.
Use Dotloop to send documents to customers so they may electronically sign.
Read, understand and know the purpose of the Homeowner Guide.
Sales Assistants are expected to be available, at a minimum, on Monday through Saturday from 9:45am to 6pm and Sunday’s from 12:45 pm to 6pm. Days off are excluded from this expectation.
QualificationsHigh School Diploma with a minimum of one (1) year experience in sales, retail, spa, country club or reception.
A valid driver’s license; required
Ability to work weekends and some holidays.
Well organized with ability to handle multiple activities simultaneously.
High level of verbal and written communication skills.
Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office to include Outlook, Excel and Word.
Other Skills and AbilitiesAbility to work effectively under extreme pressure to meet deadlines.
Ability to utilize the available time to organize and complete work within given deadlines.
Ability to operate in a high volume, fast paced environment
