EVOLVE Family Services is a 501(c) (3) nonprofit whose core vision is a world where everyone has nurturing, permanent, and supportive familial relationships. We accomplish this by providing a full breadth of inclusive ethical programing in adoption, foster care, pregnancy support, youth services, therapeutic support, and education. Our programs are supported through individual and corporate gifts, grants, earned revenue, contracted services, and special events. With 30 highly dedicated, experienced staff, EVOLVE serves all of Minnesota and western Wisconsin through a child-focused lens. In many of our programs, EVOLVE works within and alongside the child welfare system. EVOLVE Family Services is currently serving families digitally, as able due to the COVID-19 pandemic. While most positions at EVOLVE are currently functioning remotely, this position is held within our office due to the nature of the position. EVOLVE maintains health and safety guidelines for those in the office to ensure health and safety during the pandemic. The rest of our staff will continue to work remotely until safety able to resume services in-person and within our offices again.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES + EXPECTATIONS
The Adoption and Pregnancy Services Process Coordinator position is designed to be a detail-oriented and strongly organized position – working closely with our Adoption Social Workers to provide excellent customer service, administrative and file-related support to clients of EVOLVE’s adoption and pregnancy services programs. Position responsibilities include:
Process adoption and pregnancy services applications
Create, organize, and maintain client files
Coordinate with social workers and clients to provide ongoing support and tracking for adoptive family and pregnancy services client files to ensure compliance and completeness
Answer agency phones and provide strong customer service
Respond to inquires via phone and email, explaining program options and services to prospective clients
Facilitate group and individual informational meetings to prospective adoptive parents
Monitor general email box
Client data entry into agency’s database system and monitor dates for compliance.
Coordinate and communicate to ensure appropriate background checks are completed for MN and WI families.
Coordinate communication and registration on agency training for families served
Assist in facilitating adoption-related education sessions for clients, as well as community outreach/in-services related to pregnancy services
Review families’ home studies for accuracy of information and grammatical edits
Monitor billing/fees for adoptive families
Collaborate with the adoption team on consultation and program meetings
Participate in staff meetings, sessions related to agency’s commitment to anti-racist work and workplace culture, training, consultation meetings, and workshops.
Complete work in a timely manner.
Communicate effectively around individualized need.
Utilize supervision for case updates, case consultation, challenges, needed support, and accountability around agency expectations.
Maintain continuing education requirements, as well as ethical and professional standards as required by agency and any applicable licensing board.
Contribute to the agency’s overall well-being and effectiveness by fully communicating needs, ideas, and concerns directly to manager.
Engage as a fully participating team member in day-to-day tasks, special projects and other duties as assigned.
Complete and engage in individualized developmental plan for ongoing diversity, equity, and inclusion growth.
Participate in committee work either in individual programs or larger agency committees.
Education and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree or vocational training, Related experience may subsitiute for degree or training. or Master’s degree in Social Work and hold current social work licensure at the level appropriate to their degree and experience (LSW, CSW, LGSW, APSW, etc.).

We have two office locations; a large office suite in West St. Paul located off of Robert St. and Thompson Ave. and a building in Oak Park Heights off of highway 36 just outside of Stillwater. This position offices out of the Oak Park Heights location. Typical business hours for this position are Monday-Thurs, 8:00-4:30, with occasional evenings or weekends to meet the needs of clients, though there is flexibility to configure hours differently. Our agency allows flexibility around adjusting work schedules for individualized needs, outside of required staff meetings.

Compensation and Benefits
$16.85-18.50/hour, 32 hours; paid biweekly.
Benefits include health care (family coverage available), dental + vision coverage, 20 days of PTO in the first year, increasing annually up to 240 hours after 10 years of service, (prorated for part time positions), 13 paid holidays, 16 hours paid community engagement time for volunteering, service, activism, etc. (prorated for part time positions), flexible work schedule, Flexible Spending Account (FSA) and Health Savings Account (HSA) options, $50,000 Life insurance benefit, Short term and long-term disability insurance, $1,500 adoption benefit, Parental, Jury, Voting, Military, and Bereavement Leave, and Investment options.
