Summary of the JobThe Front Desk/ Reception is responsible for planning, organizing, developing and directing the day to day functions of the front desk department in accordance with the current Federal, State and Local standards policies and procedures. Manage and is responsible for coordination of front desk responsibilities. He/ She is responsible for providing a positive, caring and home like environment for the residentsQualificationsHigh School Graduate Completion of all required training courses. Organized and detail oriented. Minimum of 2 years experience. Neat and professional in appearance.
Required Knowledge, Skills and AbilitiesDemonstrate a positive team spirit and willingness to provide the highest level of patient care. Knowledge and adherence to Federal, State and Local standards and company policies and procedures. Meet general health requirements set forth by the facility, which may include a physical Ability to relate and work with ill, disabled, elderly, emotionally upset and at times hostile people in the work place. Ability to communicate in a clear and courteous manner. Ability to read, speak and write in English. Ability to problem solve within the scope of the job role.
Essential FunctionsEnsures that residents are treated with dignity, kindness and respect. Maintains resident privacy and confidentiality and adheres to the resident bill of rights at all times. Plans, organizes, implements, evaluates and supervises the day to day activities functions according to the regulations and guidelines, policies and procedures governed by the facility. Ability to front desk responsibilities to include answering phone, greeting guest and concierge for the residents. Ability to observe and evaluate the social needs of our residents and implementation of the needs to our residents. Develops, implements and participates in new employee orientation program. Monitors and is involved with family and resident grievances and complaints and informs administrator Develops, monitors and ensures accurate inventory control with any supplies related to the Reception department. Attend any in-services or programs to meet facility criteria for employees. Perform any and all duties assigned by administration.
