We are currently looking for a Project Executive to join our General Construction team. The primary responsibilities and duties for this position include: Project Assignment and Staffing: Responsible for monitoring workloads of each assigned staff member and project special requirements.
Assign the appropriate staff positions and obtain approval of such assignments from the Vice President/General Manager when new projects are awarded.

Project Planning, Execution and Monitoring: Participate in early planning meetings to assure successful start-up.
Monitor actual project performance and identify potential problems by analyzing job reports.
Communicating regularly with owners and Project Managers.
Monitor job costs on all projects, visit jobs to troubleshoot and coordinate with the field operations to resolve labor problems and other job problems as necessary.
Review all job cost projections of his immediate reports prior to presentation to the Vice President/General Manager.
Assuring monthly executive summary reports are assembled timely and distributed to owner’s representatives for all construction management projects. Follow-up with owners on any concerns after the reports are distributed.

Business Development/Sales Support: Assist in sales presentations and maintain client contacts and relationships.
Support the company’s marketing effort by accompanying marketing personnel on sales visits to provide technical support on a regular basis.
Ensure that the project managers stay abreast of the firm’s sales needs and direct their participation and support of the business development effort.

Bid and Estimate Input: Provide consultation to Estimating and Management on the pricing of estimates and bids.

Project Manager/Superintendent Direction and Training: Work with the Vice President/General Manager to train and direct new project management personnel as company growth and turnover require.
Assure project managers and superintendents receive the training, counsel and varied experience they require to perform at top efficiency and to prepare them for future growth. Recommend additional training routines and programs to the Vice President/General Manager in order to give them additional exposure to a wide variety of project management assignments as well as sales and maintenance of client relationships.
Work with the Vice President/General Manager in maintaining and keeping current the operations procedures of Wagman Construction, Inc.
Assist in improving and initiating new policies and procedures that are warranted, as the situation arises.
Project Executive will maintain and implement all duties of a Project Manager as the workload requires.
Project Executive is to perform annual performance evaluations for all staff reporting to him or her.
Project Executive is to recommend changes in salary and bonuses.
