Working with stakeholders across the organization, the VP of Marketing will support the organization’s communication and content needs while guiding strategic growth initiatives and demand generation efforts to unlock new revenue. Most importantly, we’re looking for a VP of Marketing who can grow with the ClearlyRated organization. If you’re a B2B marketing leader who has a track record of successful product marketing, sales enablement, who understands the power of the client voice in marketing, and who loves to experiment and grow, this role might be for you.Skills & RequirementsThe key to success in this position is the ability to engage stakeholders, build plans, execute, learn, and repeat. The Marketing function at ClearlyRated touches every aspect of the business, as such, your capacity for strategic planning, consensus-building, and internal communication will be critical to success. The VP of Marketing will lead a team of internal marketing staff as well as three market research analysts, oversee the performance and project priorities of marketing vendors and freelance resources, manage and measure outcomes from key marketing partnerships, as well as guide awareness of, education about, and confidence in the ClearlyRated marketing function across the entire staff. You’ll draw on your past experience as a growth-oriented marketing leader to build and execute on strategy, and rely on your team-oriented approach and communication skills to prioritize collaboration and transparency in all of your efforts.Job Requirements: (a lack of one or more should not deter you from applying!)3+ years of experience leading a marketing team in a B2B or SaaS environment
A track record of growth and demonstrated ability to correlate marketing investment with revenue outcomes
Knowledge of and practice with implementing CRM and Marketing Automation systems to support marketing operations and revenue generation
Strong presentation, communication, and collaboration skills
Confidence working with market research and data trends to drive thought leadership and position product offerings
Experience supporting Customer Success and Sales teams in customer- and prospect-facing conversations
An understanding of how to influence clients and prospect through effective product marketing
A passion for hiring, managing, and scaling a team; comfort managing a suite of outsourced resources to supplement in-house strengths and capabilities
A service-oriented approach to supporting and collaborating with internal and external stakeholders

Like so many others, we left our office in March 2020 because of COVID-19 to work remote indefinitely and have not gone back. We do plan to open our downtown Portland office again when it is safe and there will be the option to work in-person or remote.Work Location:Fully Remote
